Dear friend

Those of us who love walking and exploring around the world are met with conflicting feelings of wanderlust and hesitancy. Having missed out on planned adventures in recent months, we are following the news eager to start planning again for our next holiday. 

Things have started to change and the future is looking brighter although there is a lot of uncertainty. Greece opened to tourism on the 15th of June and our holidays since the 1st of July have been running uninterrupted. We believe that this will be the case till autumn but we don’t know what is around the corner… but this is our “new normal”. 


Because our holidays take place at remote destinations (i.e. the Pindos Mountains in Northern Greece or the unspoilt Small Cyclades in South Greece) and the reduced numbers of visitors in Greece in comparison to previous years, we and our guests have been able to enjoy the places we visit uninterrupted and… literally on our own! 

Social distancing is an issue that affects our thought on travel. It makes us wary of the busiest destinations, the tourist hotspots, the “must-see” sights, and places where lots of people gather. The benefits of visiting wilder locations of course go far beyond the repercussions of the pandemic as wilderness is good for the soul and the mind and allows honest and authentic experiences.
 
There are so many questions, but we’re here to answer any questions you may have. We’re introducing more flexibility through changes to our booking conditions to ensure our travellers can book with the confidence that they can change their plans without penalty, and working with our partners to make sure health & safety is at the forefront.

Flexibility to change your travel plans
We understand that sometimes plans change. That’s why, when you book with us you have the flexibility* to change your travel plans – with assurance that you’ll have options to re-book when it suits you.
 
1. Flexible payment
 
Lock in your trip with a small deposit and then pay the rest in full one week beforehand… or upon arrival!
 
2. Full deposit back
 
In case you have to cancel your holiday because of the coronavirus you are entitled to a full refund or a postponement of your holiday till next year at no extra cost.
 
3. No change in fees if you postpone your holiday

In case you have to postpone your holiday for next year, rest assured that the fee will remain the same.
