Itinerary

DAY 1: ANCIENT ATHENS & HIDDEN CORNERS
Today you’ll dive into the marvelous world of Ancient Athens and discover hidden corners rich in history and cultural significance. Starting from the Akropolis, you’ll walk through old neighbourhoods and picturesque narrow alleys to the Roman Agora, the Ancient Agora, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Pnyx Hill and Mars Hill, from where you’ll enjoy an incredible view of all of Athens.

You’ll also experience a food tour around Athens’ old neighborhoods, central vegetables, meat and fish markets, where you will “taste” the true soul of the Greek diet by trying lesser-known delicacies and popular traditional dishes!
DAY 2: WALK OR SEA KAYAK TO TEMPLE OF POSEIDON
You’ll enjoy a coastal ride along the Athenian riviera to the spectacular National Park of Sounio. You’ll walk in the heart of the Park enjoying unique flora, sublime coastal views, geological and archeological wonders. You’ll end the day at the famous Cape Sounio where you can swim and watch the sunset from Poseidon’s temple! If you wish instead of hiking today, you can choose to paddle with a sea kayak to the temple of Poseidon.
DAY 3: MEET OUR SAILING YACHT TAHITA IN PAROS ISLAND.
In the morning you will take the ferry to Paros island. Relax by the beach during the day and in the evening our crew will give you a briefing and show you around the sailing yacht. Welcome supper at one of our favourite local taverns by the sea.
DAY 4: SAIL TO SCHINOUSSA, SMALL CYCLADES
Today you’ll set sails towards towards the Small Cyclades. Our skipper will show you around the sailing boat and give you a brief introduction into sailing so you can get involved in sailing the boat, trim the sails or hold the helm… Stop on the way at a remote bay south of Naxos where you can swim, snorkel and enjoy a lunch break.

We’ll continue to Schinousa and spend the night on the anchor at a beautiful bay. Visit in the evening the rustic ‘Chora’ (main village) and enjoy a delicious meal at the local tavern.
DAY 5: SAIL TO UNSPOILT IRAKLIA & WALK TO IMPRESSIVE CAVE
After a morning swim you’ll sail to the little fishing port of Iraklia. Relax, swim and check the island. Early in the evening you’ll walk from the ‘Chora’, Panayia, to the cave of St. John. It’s an hour hike to the largest cave of the Cyclades, famous for its formations of stalactites. On our way back to the village you’ll enjoy a magnificent sunset from the top of the hill. The day will end with a feast at the local tavern of the village.
DAY 6: PLANE WRECK DIVE AND SAIL TOWARDS AMORGOS
Start the day with a dive at a WW2 plane wreck at the bay of Alimia. The afternoon will be devoted to sailing towards the pirate island of Amorgos. You’ll stop on the way at the bay of Nikouria for a swim and light lunch.

In the evening you’ll hike to one of the unspoilt villages surrounding the fishing port of Aegiali. On the way you’ll admire panoramic views of the bay. Tonight you’ll sit at the traditional ‘kafenio’ and try local ‘mezes’!
DAY 7: HIKE ALONG THE SPINE OF AMORGOS
Start your day with exploring one of the most scenic ‘Chora’ in the Cyclades with its narrow streets, numerous chapels, windmills, castle, picturesque white washed houses. You’ll take the trail towards the famous Monastery of Hozoviotissa, built into the face of a cliff, providing breathtaking views to the sparkling deep blue waters of the Aegean Sea. It is the pride of Amorgos.

You’ll walk along the spine of the island, pass medieval hotels, deserted villages, breathtaking landscapes till you reach the bay of Aegiali… our favourite walk on the island. You will be rewarded with a delicious supper at one of the oldest taverns of the island.
DAY 8: SAIL TO DESERTED ISLAND & ENJOY A BARBECUE ON THE BEACH
Sail towards the deserted islands of Dryma & Antikeri where you’ll spend the night on the anchor. Swim and snorkel at the turquoise blue waters of the bay. Barbecue on the small beach that is formed between these two islands. If the weather doesn’t allow us to anchor at this bay, you’ll sail to Kato Koufonisi and have supper at the tavern of the only family that lives on the island. They have their own animals, they grow their own vegetables and have their own fishing boat. The food is delicious.
DAY 9: SAIL BACK TO PAROS
Enjoy the day sailing towards the fishing port of Piso Livadi in Paros. You’ll stop on the way at a beautiful bay for a swim and lunch. Visit the traditional village of Marpissa and enjoy supper at the local tavern.
DAY 10: BEACH DAY
Transfer to your lovely guesthouse and base for the next 5 days. Relax after a week full of sailing and adventure!
DAY 11: HIKE THE BYZANTINE PATH CONNECTING PICTURESQUE VILLAGES
Relax during the day. Late in the afternoon our local guide will meet you in order to show you around the island. You’ll walk the oldest trail on the island, the ‘Byzantine path’, which leads from the picturesque village Lefkes to the village of Prodromos. On the way you’ll come across endemic fauna and ravishing flora, including herbs such as thyme, sage, oregano and lavender. Dinner at the local tavern.
DAY 12: EXPLORE ISOLATED ISLETS AND COVES BY SEA KAYAK
Today you have the chance to explore the coast of Paros by sea kayak. You’ll explore sea caves, small coves and interesting rock formations enjoying stops for a swim and snorkel. You’ll eventually reach a beautiful solitary cove where you’ll stop for a well deserved lunch break prepared by our team with fresh local products. Once you’ve rested, you’ll paddle back to our base fully satisfied that you have gained so many new experiences!
DAY 13: TRY WINDSURFING OR KITESURFING AND VISIT ANTIPAROS
Located on the West coast of Paros, Pounda is one of the most famous windsurfing and kitesurfing spots in Greece for learning or improving ones skills as it offers ideal conditions, shallow waters and protection from the waves. You’ll enjoy a 2-hour lesson with one of the best instructors on the island which promises to be a fun, unforgettable experience!

After your lesson, you can take the 5-min ferry ride to Antiparos island, opposite Pounda. Explore the chic, picturesque village and enjoy one of the most remarkable sunsets in the Cyclades.
DAY 14: BEACH DAY
Relax and enjoy your last day. Farewell supper.
